Patrick Clark

Artist Photographe

Born in Marseille on June 13, I have always been in charge of family photos. Also from a very young age, I always had a camera in my hands. This is most certainly the main reason why I have very few photos in which I am present.
From film when I started, I quickly moved to digital with the desire to quickly discover my shots and not miss the present moment. Even if I was doing what I call "pretty photos", it was not until 2018 that I really discovered my style, and more precisely my immense passion for the photography in black & white.

The trigger would you ask me? Paris, my "heart" city, the one that always inspires me so much on each of my stays, as much by its streets, its architecture, the people, the energy that circulates... is a whole. I could never have imagined doing my first photo exhibition anywhere other than in this city that has given me so much.

A question that people often ask me, why "Clark"? It is in tribute to my mother that I lost in 2018, it was her stage name when she sang in Paris. To believe that "the circle is closed"...
